Txindoki is an iconic mountain of 1,346 meters located in the Sierra de Aralar, Gipuzkoa, and is known as the “Basque Matterhorn” for its pyramidal shape. Popular among mountaineers, it is also called Larrunarri and has great cultural and mythological relevance in the Basque Country, as it is associated with the goddess Mari. From its summit it offers spectacular views of the valleys and mountains of the region.
